HDK is a leading Masonry and glazing contractor in the New York City area. HDK specialize in the installation of building envelopes and facades on commercial buildings, luxury mid-rise developments, and high-rise mixed-use projects. HDK Construction hired Designwest & Motion Monsters LLC – sister companies –  to create a new logo/identity design followed by a business card design and letterhead design as well as an eventual website design and motion video design. The Designwest qualified team of graphic designers were of course, only too happy to help with the development of the HDK logo design/identity Design. The design itself is a typographic style and uses a steel effect on the actual logo design – which was reflective of the previous brand for the business –  this was finished with a dark background and vibrant orange and white text.

Once the logo design/branding design was completed for the NYC based company the team at Designwest then created the letterhead design and business card design. The team at Motion Monsters then took the signed off brand and created a beautiful website and motion video design which we will do a post on separately.

The team had a blast working on the HDK job and with the team at HDK and we hope that we get to work with them again down the line and that their new designs work well for them
