Here is a recent website created for a Kilkelly, Mayo based client, by our talented team of digital designers here at Designwest, Kiltimagh, Mayo. This website design was commissioned by ‘Against the Grain’, who create and design wood crafted, bespoke gifts for all occasions. Sometimes using timber that is hundreds of years old, proprietor Joseph McDermott, a self taught woodcrafter from Kilkelly, County Mayo, Ireland, creates pieces such as clocks, tea light holders and wine stands to name but a few, from his base in County Mayo. Taken from the landscapes of Mayo, Ireland, the trees used in Joseph’s products are mostly felled by high winds or because they have become dangerous, so in his own words ‘its nice to think that they can live on in some form’.
